Mona Singh (Jasmeet Kaur) is a Punjabi Sikh and lives in Lokhandwala, Mumbai and has an elder sister who lives in Australia. She is not married. She dated Karan Oberoi for 12–16 months but they broke-up in 2009.
She played the central role in the popular television serial, Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi. In 2006, she was the winner of the show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa on Sony Entertainment Television. She announced to make movies sometime in the future, one of them with Bobby Pushkarna. In November 2006, she also participated in an Aids Event.
In March 2007, she signed an exclusive contract with Sony Entertainment Television to be brand ambassador for the channel for 13 months. In June 2006, she is expected to leave on a world tour with a number of other actors, performing to songs. Her next show on TV will be Extreme Makeover.. and she is hosting Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4 on Sony and extra shots on Set Max comes every Saturday. She has also been ambassador for various brands. Now she is the host of Entertainment Ke Liye ku Kuch Bhi Karega on sony entertainment television. She is also hosting for the show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 4.
